THINGS TO DO WHEN YOU RECEIVE A COMPLETED SUPPLEMENT FROM AN ESTIMATOR

*Updated 6/3/20

1. QUICKLY LOOK OVER THE PHOTOS, SOL, SUPPLEMENT, AND MEASUREMENT REPORT TO GET A SENSE OF THE CLAIM

2. FOLLOW THE CLIENT'S GUIDELINES

2.1 Read the CRM notes.

2.2 Look at the supplement to make sure that the client's requests (if any) were followed in the estimate.

3. CLEAN COVER PAGE & SOL:

3.1 Using the SOL as a reference, check that the first page of the estimate (e.g., logo, company name, HO name, etc) is correct.

3.2 Check each SOL item to make sure that it's correct: a) Item, b) Quantity, c) Price.

4. ACCURATE NOTES & PHOTOS

4.1 Read through each note to make sure it's accurate and supports the item.

4.2 Check that any documents mentioned in the notes are included in the package.

4.2 Check that all photos mentioned in the notes are included in the estimate.

5. NO MISSING ITEMS:

5.1 Go through the GD photos and quickly check if any items are missing from the estimate.

6. CLEAN COPY

6.1 Check that the clean copy doesn't contain any notes.

If you find an error in the estimate, please email Vicki and the Estimator who wrote the supplements (you can tell who it was by looking at the closed Tasks) to let them know.

Thank you!
