Once you have confirmed that the client would like full skylight replacement, the next step would be to gather your photos of the skylight(s) to send to Charles. He usually likes to see the metal tag that is located inside the roof window/skylight so he can easily identify it. Another option is to include a photo with the info stamped onto the spacer bar between the frame and glass.
If you don't see any photos of these, so you may need to go back to the client later to ask for this, if Charles ends up not being able to identify the skylight based on the other photos available.
Using info10 email create an email to charles.otis@velux.com, attach your photos and say something like the below message. I also usually include the insured name or address at the bottom so that you can identify it when it comes into desk.
Hi Charles,
I hope all is well!
I am reaching out regarding a project we're working on to check about skylight parts availability. Could you please see review the photos attached and let me know if you are able to determine if parts would be available for this skylight?
Please let me know if you need anything additional. I look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you!

Once you send that, wait for his response. He may be able to identify the skylight from the photos sent. If so, he will tell you Yes, parts are still available (in which case we have no support to pursue the skylight replacement) or he will tell you no that parts are not available (in which case we would use this to request full replacement from insurance). However it is also possible that he is not able to identify the skylight without the metal tag. If that is the case, then you will need to reach back out to the client and let them know Velux can't identify the skylight/availability without photos of that tag. Ask them if they or the HO could get a picture of it and let you know once it's uploaded.
