HOW TO HANDLE INCREASES OVER $20K

HOW TO HANDLE INCREASES OVER $20K

If you bring an increase over $20K, here are the next steps:

1) First, CONGRATULATIONS!!! :)

2) Next, please note that we bill all increases over $20K, as soon as we receive the revised estimate. (If you are still in negotiations, please pursue the rest as an Additional Increase.)

Process:
  • Please inform the RF that we are billing because it's $20K+ and we will continue with negotiations.
  • Create a CRM Task for Vlad, with a due date of the next billing date.
    • In your task, please state that we are still in negotiations and write the increase amount.
      • For example: "Still in Negotiations; Increase = $21,482.91"
  • Move the stage to Billing.
  • Populate the End_Date in the AM Tracking sheet.
  • Then, continue negotiations as usual.
  • If there is an increase BEFORE the billing date:
    • If you still plan to continue negotiations, please adjust the CRM and AM Tracking sheet amounts. Then, keep negotiating. :)
    • If you are done with supplements, please adjust the CRM and AM Tracking sheet amounts and change the Billing Task subject to "Please Bill".
  • If there is an increase AFTER the billing date, please treat it as an additional increase.
  • If there is no increase after the billing date and we decide to close it as is, please task Vlad to move the stage to Completed with an explanation (in the task) that we have already billed for it and there is $0 additional increase.
Thank you -- and congratulations again!
